I work on custom tropical signs using faux finishes and painting to give them a richness and depth. All signs are painted on plywood and sealed with verathane for protection.

Diamond Head, HI The Kainalu 4'x2'on plywood. Acrylic. The board members and the manager of the Kainalu were looking for an updated tropical sign to replace their 1960's sign. I gave the background two three color faux finishes and painted the trees and type over top. Everyone was wonderful to work with. |

Kahaluu, HI Armour Gallery and Gardens Plywood base sign 40"x40". The clients were looking for a sign that represented their business by incorporating some of the orchids that they displayed in their beautiful gardens. All signs are sealed with Varathane to help protect them from the sun and weather. |

Diamond Head, HI Kapahulu/ Campbell 4'x2' Campbell Ave. Bakery. Acrylic. We chose a tropical theme for the visuals for a Hawaii feel. I also painted the outside of the bakery and faux finished the inside. Go there for the best Lime Haupia pie and sweetbread cinnamon rolls. Fabulous! |
